South African-German company SanlamAllianz officially launches its operations in Uganda to boost the insurance sector.

The capital city of Kampala witnessed the official launch of SanlamAllianz, a new alliance between South African insurance giant Sanlam and leading German company Allianz. This move aims to strengthen the two companies' presence in the African market and develop the insurance sector in Uganda.

During the launch ceremony, company officials emphasized that this collaboration marks a new phase in providing innovative insurance services, including health and life insurance, as well as digital solutions tailored to meet the needs of customers in developing markets.

SanlamAllianz aims to expand insurance coverage and develop accessible products for previously uninsured groups, with a focus on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and promoting financial literacy among citizens.
